Gossip Girl Episodes :- Blair Waldorf Must Pie!
The Thanksgiving is here, and Eleanor Waldorf’s huge and lavish annual Thanksgiving dinner is the talk of the town. Thanksgiving also happens to be Blair Waldorf’s favorite holiday time, and this time, it would be more special as her father Harold Waldorf, has promised her that he would flow down from France to be with her.
Serena van der Woodsen grills Blair regarding Blair’s romantic equation with Chuck Bass and Blair confirms to her that she had sex with him. Serena is stunned, and what ensues is a heated argument between the two, as sex, best friends and boyfriends is indeed a tricky issue between the two girls. Subsequently, the Van Der Woodsen family would not attend the Thanksgiving dinner organized by Eleanor Waldorf. They have their own plans of having Chinese food for the Thanksgiving and when this is revealed to Dan Humphrey, he is persistent that the Van der Woodsen family joins his family in Brooklyn for the Thanksgiving Dinner. Lillian, however, is still ignorant about the reunion of Alison and Rufus Humphrey. But the cat is out of the bag for the children of the families and now they know that before Alison came into his life, Rufus had a steamy affair with Lillian. Choice is given to Rufus by Alison, who tells him to choose between Alison and Lillian and as Lillian’s shadow would hamper their marriage. Rufus chooses his wife over Lillian and he takes his family to the park where like good old days they play football. Lillian takes her children for a treat of chips as she narrates Eric and Serena about the exciting times she had spent in Rufus’s company.
Blair Waldorf is so upset about the absence of her father, Harold that she over eats a yummy looking pie and since she has suffered from bulimia, this has an adverse affect on her and enters Serena who has dropped by her house just in time, when her friend needed her and supports her, while boosting her morale.
It was a bad Thanksgiving Day for Nate Archibald. He can’t find anyone, to talk out the problems being faced by his family and coming back home, he sees his father with Vicodin and Whiskey which horrifies him. He rushes his father to the hospital and asks him to sort out his problems as the family needed the Captain.
There is a close mother – daughter bonding happening at the Waldorf’s home, as Eleanor confesses to Blair that she had herself asked Harold not to visit home, as the divorce papers had come and she was not yet ready to put her signature on them. She also informs her daughter that Harold has left already and now she is scared that Blair might go away too.
It was an entirely different Thanksgiving last year. Blair Waldorf had a lovable boyfriend, a family united and content, Serena – her best friend who had not left her till now, yes it was different. Nate Archibald too was more content and happy last year with no problems regarding the family whatsoever. Dan Humphrey had a happier family last year but he was still a loner who thought about Serena a lot and always wondered whether he would ever get a chance to talk to her.
Serena Van der Woodsen was a different personality last Thanksgiving, spending her time in drunken stupor with no regards for her family. It was really an entirely different Thanksgiving last year as the lives of these people have changed very much in the past year.
