Personal Life- Meester was eleven when her family moved to New York City and there she started modeling Wilhelmina shot by Bruce Webber, she also worked with then photographer Sofia Coppola. Meanwhile she got a chance to act in the local production The Wizard of Oz, and it grabbed her interest for acting and from that time she has worked in the dozen of Television Series.
Career Credit- Meester’s first big role was on Law and Order in 1999. Then she moved to CSI-Miami, Simple Rules, 24, 7th Heaven and House playing Ali. She did work in Veronica Mars as Carrie Bishop. She also appeared in hit series Entourage as Justin Chapin in season one. Her very first film was Hangman’s Curse. In 2006 she got her first lead role in film ‘Drive Thru’. She also recorded a song for this film. Finally she got the role of Blair in Gossip Girl and it made her famous and known actress.
Blair’s role- Leighton Meester is playing the lead role Blair in Gossip girl. She is popular girl in the series and is called Queen Bee on the show. Serena is her best friend and she dates Nate for a long while but when Nate starts dating with Serena, she takes her revenge by pretending of fake pregnancy. On the show she belongs to the upper class family, with a fashion designer mother and a gay father. She is the only child, and so very pretentious and extremely liberated. She became popular for her expensive designer dresses she wears on the show and teen girls are mad to follow her style. Nonetheless her outfits are center attraction for fashion designers as well.
